This is a fan project. It is not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft or Discord Inc. and does not act on their behalf.
McTCG is a collecting game running on Discord. Players open packs, collect cards, forge duplicates and take part in matches. Use is free - an account is created automatically on the first command.
A Discord account is required, along with compliance with Discord's terms, including its minimum age requirement.
Emeralds are an in-game currency. They are not money, not a virtual currency within the meaning of anti-money-laundering rules, and not a means of payment.
Emeralds are obtainable in game at no cost: a free pack every 24 h, a daily reward and refunds for duplicate cards. Buying only shortens the wait and never unlocks content otherwise unavailable.
A pack contains 3 random cards and costs 300 emeralds. The odds for each rarity are public, identical for every user and visible under the /szanse command:
Emeralds buy an attempt, never a specific outcome. The Operator does not guarantee obtaining any particular card, regardless of how many packs are opened. Odds may be changed going forward, with an announcement; such changes are not retroactive.
Packs are opened with emeralds, which can also be earned for free. Cards and emeralds have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another person or sold - no outcome of opening a pack can be a cash or material prize. Opening packs is therefore not a game of chance, lottery or betting within the meaning of the Polish Gambling Act.
Payments are handled by HotPay and PayPal. The available payment methods are shown in the payment window. The Operator does not store payment card details or banking credentials.
Prices in the store are final - no additional fees are added to them.
Emeralds are credited once payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. The contract is concluded when the emeralds are credited.
Purchases may only be made by adults, or by persons aged 13 or over with a guardian's consent. By purchasing, the user declares that this condition is met.
Emeralds are digital content delivered immediately. Before paying, the user gives explicit consent to delivery before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledges that they thereby lose the right to withdraw - in line with Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
Without that consent the emeralds are not credited and the consumer keeps the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Complaints go to kontakt@mctcg.pl. Include the order number shown after payment, your Discord name, a description of the problem and what you expect. We reply within 14 days, to the address the complaint came from.
The most common case - money taken, emeralds not credited - happens when the payment confirmation does not reach us. A report with the order number lets us settle it manually.
It is prohibited to use multiple accounts to bypass limits, to automate commands, to exploit faults in the service, and to resell accounts or emeralds. The Operator may block access in case of a breach, after a prior warning unless the breach is severe.
An account blocked through the user's fault does not entitle them to a refund for unused emeralds.
The service is provided as is. The Operator makes every effort to keep it running but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or preservation of account state in the event of a failure.
If the service is permanently closed, the Operator will announce it at least 30 days in advance and stop selling emeralds. Unused emeralds purchased within the 12 months before the announcement are refundable pro rata.
These terms may be amended with 14 days' notice announced on the site. Amendments are not retroactive.
Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, including the European Commission's ODR platform.
